Hello I was wondering if anyone on here might be able to help me find a local shop that sells a specialist light bulb. To cut a long story short we are having an 80th Birthday party on saturday and some of our garden lights have stopped working. The bulbs that we need for them are so hard to get hold of and are £5 for two at B&Q, we need 4!! They are called 5W wedge base bulb, or wedge fit push in. They are fairly small, here is a link to what they look like http://www.lightbulbs-direct.com/product/2921/12v-5w-t5-16x35mm/ We have tried Howells DIY, Grange electric in birkenhead, electrical shop on liscard road wallasey, rightway, wilkinsons, homebase but no luck... I could get them on ebay but ive ran out of time to order online. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Michelle

As Chris says - try a motorists discount shop. They are a common car bulb - more so on imported cars. The Halfords link shows a 501 bulb which is slightly smaller, but should do the trick. The bulb pictured is a bit bigger - gimmie 10 mins and Ill find the bulb code for them as I ordered a load for my last imported cars tail lights

Auto electrical, as previously mentioned. Dont go Halfords or Motorworld, as still a bit dear. Try a Motor Factors. Depending where you are these can be Jim Barrows etc do them
