also not that it matters but a new LASER is about 25 quid on ebay, however thats irrelevant as its not the laser nor blu ray drive, its ylod

wat is ylod?? the red light of death?? on sum ps3 the blue wil work but the games wont because there r 2 different lazer 1 4 each thing soo if 1 has gone the other wil stil work coz they both dont run of the same lazer

ylod is yellow light of death - usually different lights flashing. Its the same old problem of the solder under the graphics chip losing connection - I think there are kits to better mount and heatsink the graphics chip (after the usual fix of overheating it one way or another). Not my field but ..... Google is your friend
