The callendar has been changed so many times in the past that i doubt if the mayans would recognise 21 12 2012 as the correct date

Its interesting for sure, but one part has given me a good laugh, CERN's particle accelerator is going to bring about the end of the known universe, O RLY? Its such a pain when that happens! Got to love apocalyptic predictions

In Bible- Old Testament-Zechariah Chapter 14 gives 'Last Day's'.It states 'known to The Lord' so indicates only known to Him. The bit I think facinating is Verse 4'And his feet shall stand on that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a great valley:and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south'.
This Prophecy was written before the birth of Christ, and The Mount of Olives now has a known geological fault, so eventually it could divide in two.Quotation from King James Bible-burning the midnight oil so I have not dug out a more modern translation.I take each day as it comes so won't lose any sleep worrying about 'last days'
