hi all

most weekends my friend and i enjoy going to car boot sales but only know about 3 in the wirral area.

i looked on wikiwirral to see if there was a thread on the local car boot sales and couldnt find one that was up to date. a few links that has been mentioned to look at also are mostly out of date.

so our idea was to have a thread with all the car boot sales that people are aware of with the place, time and days/dates they are on, and hope it could be of use for other people who enjoy car boot sales like we do.

the 3 we know of are:

tranmere rovers football club on every sunday morning from 6am

west kirby football club, every sunday morning - sellers at 7am, buyers at 8am and every sunday afternoon - sellers at 1.30pm, buyers at 2.30pm,

theres also one in moreton but im not sure what time that starts as we tend to get there after 9am but i cant think of the road its on.

hope this information is of use to other people and that more car boot sales can be added to the list

chester rugby club just off the end of the M53. carry on A55 to A51 turn off, turn left onto A51 Tarvin Rd and then next left into Hare Lane.follow the rd into car boot. Stay in right lane to go past the sellers who aren't allowed on the field till 10.00am sharp. Don't get stuck in the sellers queue! a couple of hundred cars on a good day.

Neston cricket club odd saturdays (google it) and gladstone theatre port sunlight saturdays again google it

my dad religiously go's to the countess of chester every sunday ..he says its one of the best

Try venturing out a few more mile and try the one at winwick warrington.loads of seller and lots of buyer.ive done there 4 time and have come back with a profit..

THERES ONE IN LIVERPOOL TOO.. MAYBE WEST DERBY?? OR TRUBROOK NOT TOO SUREE.. WE USED TO GO AFTER THE TRANMERE ONE ON A SUNDAY ITS GOOD UP THEREE.. AND MORETON ONE IS ON THE SHORE ISNT IT??

There's a good boot sale in Lydiate on the A59 towards Ormskirk. There's another good one at Burscough again on the A59.

The best one is in Chelford. That's on the road from Knutsford to Macclesfield. £2.50 to get in. Another by Chelford station 500m further on.

Hi sandie, i think you will find August Bank Holiday is on Monday the 29th. August.
