Car sales stayed at Claughton road...behind the Co-Op I think it was. The showroom somehow ended up on two levels from what I remember. The new cars were in the lower part and used in the raised bit.....rumour had it that the old centre post lub ramp couldn't be dug out so was just concreted over and left underneath the new floor.

Does anyone know what happened to Herrons garage? Did they go bust or was the company sold?
