Could anybody tell me why Firefox has gone crap lately. It always seem to struggle to load anything. I was that pissed off before , i even switched to IE , just to see what would happen , and it worked perfect ,everytime , no messin , just straight to the page i want.Any recommendations for other browsers , as i dont want to have to use IE.

I use Firefox exclusively & I don't notice any problems.

I've been noticing Firefox has been running slower of late, not sure if it was to do with the last upgrade maybe? Personally I've switched to Google Chrome, and found the performance better.

Tend to agree with you Toffeenose. I used Firefox for ages but gave up on it as it got slower and slower to start up. Also found that it mysteriously kept losing all my favicons too. I've been using Opera for quite a while now and heartily recommend it: http://www.opera.com/browser/

You done the about:config changes to speed firefox up? I'm still using 5 because the majority of my enumeration extensions only work with 5, but I'm not having any slowdown at all.

Chrome is definitely faster than firefox but there are so many sites and applications that refuse to work with it. firefox is a right pain at the moment with all the upgrades but it is still my favourite desktop browser. Opera mini is by far my best mobile browser despite its problems registering clicks.
