Check out Mountain bike posting Hi People, Right, who has got a bike and wants to lose weight/build stamina? Am thinking seacombe ferry to new brighton and back just for exercise and meet WIKI friends. (NOT A RACE!!!!!!).Lets say every Friday at the ferry 6.30pm just for a ride. I am up for that BUT GOT TO WORK AWAY IN EDINBURGH FOR 3 WEEKS FROM TOMORROW(wednesday)so maybe someone can carry this on from friday or give me your names and in 3 weeks we can do it, bring the kids and bikes. all welcome just cycle and ride, free exercise and fun and meet. Who is up for it???? PS. if you smoke like i do get ur last smoke in at the ferry till u get back to seacombe (Just a thought, want to pack in aswell and get fresh air into my lungs) Mike N Charlie, who is up for that????

i dont have the time But . . .
I bought a bike in June. And in 12 weeks cycling to work 4.5 miles each way i lost 2 stone in weight.
Its great fun, once you get your arse trained lol Shame this idea didnt come up in June as i done the wirral way a few times from moreton to Park Gate about 20 miles all in.
The beauty with the the front water front its all level no hills to worry about.
Good Luck with this its a great idea.

You won't believe me but I can't make the 7th . I got rid of my 'mountain' bike earlier this year and have a tatty fold up one now that I love. I did nearly 15 miles from Llangollen Aquaduct along to Horseshoe falls back in the summer and a circuit of Llyn Brenig (10 miles) a few weeks ago. Nothing fast just plodding along taking in the scenery - love it!!!

Mark Thankyou for your input, I agree with the rash..LOL But it is GREAT for losing weight and getting fit Ladies,Gentlemen and children. Please come on board and dont be shy, lets get something going here ...loads of bikes on wirral, something to do for an hour or two keeps the kids off the streets no traffic mostly street lit and as mark said FLAT. Dead easy ride.

Once you have a date time and place post this in up n coming event. I would recomend a week before your date or it could fall dowm the list.
If the weather is good I may try and make it. But a second food for thought is that its already dark at 8pm
See bottom right forum island giving you sunset and sunrise.
