POLICE are investigating an unexplained death after a man collapsed at the wheel of his car.

Emergency services were called to Coningsby Drive in Wallasey at 3pm yesterday afternoon.

A passenger in the car called paramedics after the driver fell ill whilst the vehicle was stationary. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It is believed the man died from a heart attack.

The road was closed and a tent erected over the vehicle.

A police investigation is under way into the unexplained death but they are not treating it as suspicious.

Sorry to hear of your sad news Pamela. Sad at anytime,but particulaly at Christmas Time.

well i am sorry to say but if i was admin i would remove this thread. I am not peased at all with what i am reading and as some people on here have said people are greeving right now and dont need to be reading the rubbish of small minded peole that think its funny to joke about a very ill man.
