8 or 9 speed ,I could have a look at it for you if you want.If it is buckled bad etc etc etc it might be worth getting a new one.Is it vee brake or disc.I have a rear wheel as long as its the right type that you could use while yours is being fixed.

its a 8 speed disc its not badly buckled but you can feel play side to side and movement by the hub

sure I have got an 8 speed disc mavic 717 with a hope hub in my shed,It is true and running sweet has got a casette on it to. can you get your bearings out ,then at least you can search for the price of them.

Im up for it but how we all getting there me an phil an bro rode it all last time or does any one have a van I can prob get 3 bikes in ,maybe 4 I do have a rack not used it on this car yet but we could try it .So I could pick people up on the way and we just split the fuel and parking and the driver gets a free coffee at the cafe ha ha .We would have to take the wheels off 2 bikes to go in the boot and 2 on the rack.It is a citroen xara picasso what you say.

I will let you know about Sunday later this week ,If I can make it we should do Penmachno .But if weather is real bad prob best not.So to be confirmed later this week.

I ride a 2010 stumpy fsr- about your bearings- if they are sealed then you probably have a good wheel as they don't normally put them on crap rims- I would get them sorted asap before you wear the hub out. Cone and cup are ok to service but you need cone wrenches and patience lol

Had a fiddle with the rebound and compression on the way to west kirby, set the just right.Just need to check the pressure in the left leg now.
Bottomed them out jumping off the railway at Thurston lol.

Safe to say todays riding conditions were the worst I have ever rode.
Very good ride only did 15miles but from the moor to ponderosa cafe and back.
Don't under estimate older riders aswell, in parts steve was quicker than me lol
