If I'm correct, currently there is no way to know if a car has a section 59 against it if your buying a car.
A HPI Check doesn't show it up? And you cant ask the police as its under the Data Protection Act.
So a bit of a conundrum if you know what i mean, that's all under "if my source was correct" ?

Errr, that nearly clears that up! So if the officers supposed to be enforcing the law don't really understand it, then surely there would be room to argue using a well paid solicitor?

Simple way to avoid any problems... dont do things like speeding etc?? or play music? or beep your horn? or accidently wheel spin? or have an exhaust louder than standard? e.t.c? They could all cause alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public lol

Hehe yes, well all them too. There are laws governing when you should beep your horn, you shouldnt really be wheelspinning, and really exhaust and music volume is just common decency imho.
