I got to say a major big thank you for all the time and effort/resources/pictures etc on your reply and help on the matter
Just to say billy not got on the rocks to see the dead cat as he is only a small dog and not good walking on the slippery rocks
I think he died after eating what I mentioned previously
Once again a big thank you

Hi so sorry to hear about your loss, after hearing this just had to mention that we had a very worrying time at the end of July with our 5 month old puppy, after walking him on the sand behind the fort late evening within half an hour of coming off the beach he was vomiting, foaming at the mouth, shaking and running around like he was going in to shock! we never let him off his lead as he tries to eat everything in sight, and came very close to a large red jellyfish! we thought he had maybe sniffed at it and got stung! we phoned the vet and he advised to monitor him for the next few hours and to put white vinegar on his nose in case it was a sting, thankfully he settled and was fine the next day maybe there was something poisnous in the sand? It has put me off ever taking him on the beach, once again so sorry to hear your sad loss and thank you for warning us other dog owners bless you.
