I ant to pay tribute to the people who run the car boot sale at West Kirby. I was there yesterday and was really happy to see what a well run place it is and also what good work they do for local charity because yesterday they asked the sellers to leave any unsold stuff at the donation point on the football ground for the local cancer charity shop and there was lots and lots of good stuff left which the cancer shop people who were there collected to take back to their shop. I was speaking to one of the stewards and he told me that the football club does this on a regular basis for lots of charities and last year they raised £2000 for the local cancer charity. Well done West Kirby

Nice to read that. Have been thinking of doing a car boot with my daughter to get rid of some toys and child stuff. Will definitely bear this one in mind.
