Someone asked me for a photo of the open air baths at Port Sunlight. Sorry for the delay in posting it but, been battered at work lately

They were on the site of what is now Port Sunlight Garden Centre. A brilliant place to go for a swim, because the water was heated.

Water was heated using steam from Lever's factory nearby, used to swim there in the winter with steam rising from the water. Had a season ticket in the form of a little red book they called a contract.
