Hican anyone help? I am in need of awheelchair for about 6 weeks due to surgery I have had. The NHS dont providethem, and they are rediculouly expensive to hire, i.e 50.00 dep, then 25.00 a week!! Help, you can email at [email protected] thanks Jess

Red Cross Birkenhead hire them out free or reasonable charge

Try some secondhand or charity shops if possible A friend had basic one in his shop £20 a while ago

When you progress from wheelchair to crutches,,which I hope is the case I can lend you some crutches if that will be of any help !

Hi. If you still need one i have a wheelchair you can borrow. We keep one incase anyone in our community has need of it. It's at the Bidston Rise Community House, Clover drive by Tescos Bidston Moss. If you'd give us a ring on 0151 653 2200. You can pick it up from there.Or if you can't pick it up we can arrange something if your not too far away.
