Heswall Dales was on the list- not been there.

Would not mind doing any walks again. Changing landscapes...new faces.....new stories/ memories.

Going to see if I can find the 'To Do' List....its on here somewhere....

Don't know if any of you would be interested in this.

When the Wirral Journal was first published (1982) they published a short circular walk, usually between 4 and 7 miles, in each edition. Last year I thought it would be a good idea to try and follow these routes to see how much things had changed in a fairly short period of time. I only completed a few of them due to the weather conditions, but I did find them interesting. Some of the routes cover area already covered by Wiki Walks, but others are in different areas of the Wirral.

If anyone is interested, the first one, published in Spring 1982, is an easy 4 mile walk starting at Arrowe Bridge, going through Arrowe park, past the lake to Limbo Lane, Arrowe Brook Lane and back to Arrowe Bridge. (Part of this is along roads, but most of it is on field paths).

Your thoughts?

Although I don't fancy a long walk I wouldn't mind doing Landican Lane and finding the saxon bridge then the roman road and the Saddle club and farm in Prenton
