has anyone noticed a black lady who walks around grange road and the pyramids picking up ciggy stumps and putting them in her pockets.

I remember Soft George from when I was younger living in Seacombe. Rumour had it that he dived in the Mersey to save someone from drowning and banged his head on the ships propellor and it gave him brain damage. I think another name for him was Totty Brown. I believe he was found dead in the toilets in Seacombe ferry. RIP.

What about 'Parrot Man'? An up and coming character for 2011-will he feature here in the future?
He has been seen 'out n about' in Birkenhead Market, by several of us....
He has a parrot, on his shoulder, attached to a harness and a lead.
Ive seen him about just saw him today sitting on a bench down town. Parrot Man has a bike now. The birds sit on the handlebars.

Haha Poppy....I remember him well, he would never step on the cracks in the pavement either, tall dark haired man in a black leather jacket, poor man must have taken him hours to go the shop and back !!

I used to be amazed with him walking so slow I was about 7/8yrs old, dare I ask then do you remember the "dog shit thrower" sorry to be rude, but he was around the same time, he terrorized laird street.

I remember Mick the Meths as well from Seacombe. He used to drink Belle Aire hair spray. I have also seen him eating a raw fish before Sushi was fashionable. I believe he was also a troubled person God Rest his soul.
