I'm trying to help a friends trace some history of their house. It was the farmhouse overlooking what is now Kingfisher Way in Saughall Massie. The house was built around 1930 they think and is now situated on Oak Avenue overlooking the Kingfisher estate. Does anyone have any old photographs of the area or the farm and/or know anything about the area?
Thanks

Was once owned by William Dodd of "Dodds Yard" in Bermuda Road Moreton. I'm not sure it was ever a farm the stables at the back were built for his Daughters or Wife's horses. William was a POW in the second World War.

Thank you very much, do you have any idea when he lived there or when the house was built?
Thanks again.
