We don't have a laptop or computer but would like wifi for online gaming and iPhones can it be done and any providers you no do this thanks

every single provider will let you do that you do not need a computer but you do need a device with the relevant connection methods,
ie wifi, or ethernet (console)

You will get a router.
But now and then you will need a laptop or decent phone to access the router? you may have to allow port forwarding for some games.

Ask your friends if they needed to configure there router to play the games if not try that provider, but it may be worth asking them about configuring it too. Tell them the games your going to be playing.

If it doesnt work you have a 2 week cooling off period
