I'm not watching this year as I can't stand Dappy from n dubz
this is the 1st time ever I've not wanted to see it, but there's some people that you can't have on your tv and he's one of them.

Dappy and Liz Jones face eviction from Celebrity Big Brother 2014 already.


Tonight’s live launch show saw twelve stars enter, but in a twist they were handcuffed into twos as they moved into the Big Brother house for the start of their three week stay.

And they were told they had to stay chained together until Big Brother says otherwise.

The pairs were:

Linda Nolan and Jim Davidson

Dappy and Liz Jones

Sam Faiers and Jasmine Waltz

Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor



Ollie Locke and Lionel Blair

Luisa Zissman and Evander Holyfield

But in a twist, the first pair to enter the house, Jim and Linda, had the power to release one set of housemates (including themselves).

In the Diary Room – in a chat with BB watched by the remaining housemates outside from the sofas – the pair opted to instead free Dappy and Liz from one another.

However, not all wasn’t as it seemed: Although now free, as a consequence, Dappy and Liz were put up for eviction on Wednesday night. In a further twist, the pair will face the axe together as a single housemate.

Over the next few days, a further two pairs will get the chance to be freed, at the expense of going up for eviction, against Dappy and Liz.

Anyone who reads Liz Jones in the Daily Mail will know she is a brittle character and I am amazed she is there at all. The remainder are all rather dull.

On the eviction thing, there was a suggestion that even if a pair got voted off it didn't necessarily mean both would depart. Go figure!

Journalist Liz Jones has been tipped to be the first housemate to leave Celebrity Big Brother 2014.


It’s perhaps not too surprising that the controversial Daily Mail writer finds herself as the rank outsider for glory with the bookmakers at odds of 80/1, and the bookies can reveal just one bet of £1 has been placed on the catty journalist to find glory.

Meanwhile, it’s Blue’s Lee Ryan that leads the early betting.

The former Blue star has been an instant hit with punters, much more so than his music ever was, and his odds have collapsed into just 5/2 from his opening price of 7/1.

Ollie Locke (3/1) and Sam Faiers (5/1) are battling it out next in the betting, whilst it’s a 10/1 shot Evander Holyfield goes the distance.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The early money suggests punters won’t be feeling Blue when Lee romps to victory.

“Unfortunately for Liz it looks like she could be the most unpopular contestant in CBB history.”

Big Brother has delivered the latest celebrity housemates their first task of the series.


Last night twelve celebs entered the new house in six pairings, handcuffed together.

Although a twist saw Dappy and Liz released from their shackles, for the purposes of tasks they will still be considered a pair.

Today, in their pairs, the Celebrity Housemates are challenged to build a tower which represents the size of their fame using Big Brother’s building blocks of celebrity.

In the Living Area is a pile of large colourful building blocks – each representing traits which can contribute to making someone a Celebrity (e.g. Talent, Celebrity Relationships, Cosmetic Surgery, Money Problems, and Controversy).

Taking it in turns, each pair of celebrities must choose a building block which applies to one or both of them and place it on their tower.



They must then explain why they chose this building block by sharing a relevant story from their celebrity lifestyle with the group.

If Big Brother isn’t satisfied with an explanation, Big Brother may ask Housemates to elaborate further, and if the block really doesn’t apply to their story, Big Brother will ask them to remove the block from the tower.

At the end of the task, the pair with the tallest tower of blocks will be declared the biggest superstars. They will win a key which will allow them to free themselves and they will automatically gain immunity from the first eviction.

Should two or more pairs build towers of equal height, one golden tie-breaking block will be delivered which the pairs will compete for.

This afternoon the housemates are facing their first challenge, and it’s a doozy. In their handcuffed pairs, Jinda, Lappy, Jam, Lasey, Lollie and Levander will be faced with the Building Blocks of Celebrity – big colourful blocks that each represent traits that contribute towards celebrity status. You know the sort of thing: Talent; Celebrity Relationships; Cosmetic Surgery; Money Problems, etc, etc.

In turn, each celebrity must choose a block that applies to them, or their partner, and place it on a tower that represents the level of their fame. They must then justify their choice by sharing a relevant story from their career. If Big Brother isn’t happy with the explanation, the housemate will be asked to elaborate further, and if that still doesn’t cut it, they’ll have to remove the block from the tower. At the end, the pair with the highest tower will be declared victorious.

Whoever wins will be awarded the key to their handcuffs and gain immunity from the first eviction, so it’s all to play for! Even though Dappy and Liz have already been granted immunity, they’ll still have to take part; if they win, they can grant immunity to whomever they choose.
