Went for a meal with hubby ,tried our first choose ,only to find 'the grill' was broke.. only fish available < had some yesterday >so went for a drive and ended up in The Ferry , and had Steak and ale pie, chips ,carrots, peas ... very nice < both felt the gravy had a kick to it lol>

They must have had the delivery then Miss as no pie lids or chips yesterday.

I went the shop for Tortellini for tea but as they are shut tomorrow there was loads of stuff going cheap.

Got noodles, beansprouts and veg- all for under a £1 in total- so had a Stir fry instead.very nice. yumyum

This is the left- over Beef from yesterday (already fed five people, including a Hungry Horace lol). As you can see, going to be eating Beef for days........

Today, used some up in a homemade Chow Mein. Thinking a Roast for tomoz and a Curry on Wednesday.

I reiterate- the joint cost just £5 grin

Been eating Beef Mushroom stir-fry all week....lol

Today, had Lambs Liver (home- cooked- first attempt), herby buttered new spuds (home-made-first time), sweetcorn and a home-made Gravy/ Sauce (second attempt- mushroom/ onion heavy). yumyum


Lets just say that I am in Plusones 'good books'- the Girl did good laugh

We just had a Punjabi Tomato curry with vegetables and potato.The curry pack from supermarket "The Spice Tailor" came with three packs,spices,base sauce and main sauce. Top stuff.I looked to see where it was made.Horton House.Exchange Flags. Liverpool.Well done.
