Been running fine but stood on drive for about a week. Ran battery flat trying to start it (not much juice in battery). Took terminals off and recharged battery--turns engine over fine but not firing or even misfiring. Sort off checked immobiliser indicator on door and that seems to indicate immobiliser ok. Fuel in tank but not smelling very petroly when trying to start. sprayed distributor, leads etc with wd40. Slight clicking noise around dashboard fuse box area Any clues or time to get AA out? cheers

Just check them terminals are the right way around.
Everything could be working backwards.
Its electrical what ever the fault is.

cheers guys. got it sorted. had to give the starter a good turning over several times to pull some fuel through. Managed to start without draining battery again. With standing must have lost fuel from pipes or somewhere along the system. Let it run for a while and now starts first time.
