Job Overview

We're now recruiting for self-employed Door to Door Leaflet Distributors to distribute leaflets and other marketing material in and around the Wirral, Neston and Ellesmere Port areas.

Our clients rely on us to provide a professional and reliable leaflet delivery service so we need to maintain a great team of honest hard working distributors.

Our leaflet delivery people are well paid and take pride in giving our clients a high quality service. Team members are from all age groups and come from all walks of life.

Duties and Responsibilities

We pay from £45 to £60 per 1,000 leaflets delivered. (It would normally take around 6 to 8 hours to deliver 1000 leaflets)

As a self employed contractor you will need to pay any tax or NI that becomes due.

Future prospects include becoming a Team Leader or joining our elite "Flying Squad" to deliver leaflets as a team outside your regular area.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

You will ideally live within the Wirral, Neston or Ellesmere port areas.

You'll probably be suited to the role of leaflet distributor if you have the following:
*Some experience would be good, although not essential.
*Be physically fit and healthy.
*Be able to walk around 10 to 15 miles a day.
*Good organisational skills and discipline.
*Transport - your own car is ideal.
*Respect for people’s property.
*Honesty and reliability.
*Two verifiable references that we can check.
*Have a minimum of 16 hours a week available to dedicate to deliver leaflets.
*Professionalism and pride in your work brings satisfaction of a job well done.
*Ability to work as part of our excellent team but also to work on your own.
*Your own email address and basic computer skills so you can submit your reports and invoices.
*A mobile phone so we can phone and text you.
*A bank account so we can pay your invoices.
All applicants must be aged 18 years or older.

To apply to be a leaflet distributor or to find out more please go to our website Wirral Leaflet Delivery www.wirralleafletdelivery.co.uk and look at the vacancies page.

Wirral globe paid me a measly £10 extra for delivering 2250 leaflets . £45 to 60 per thousand is not too bad especially if you can tap up the local chippy or restaurants and deliver for them at the same time.

8 hours for £45 is below national wage, is there a car allowance (Transport - your own car is ideal), Do you get paid extra for the time taken to fill in reports, (*Your own email address and basic computer skills so you can submit your reports and invoices.) just a few thoughts

I assume £45 is for the 6 hour rounds and £60 is for 8 hours rounds, both work out at £7.50 and hour.

Proffesionalism and pride in your work. Lol. Ability to cope with tedium and boredom. I leafleted most of west kirby and newton a few years back with pizza magic menus.to stave off boredom etc i became a connosieur of front gardens or lack of garden maintenance, doormats and plaques with witty sayings, the variety of british letterboxes, the lack of public toilets. My award for the witty door sign went to one which read "everybody visiting this house brings joy and happiness....some by entering others by leaving" good exercise though

As I understand it, people will not be employees so surely minimum wage doesn't enter into it. When you take transport into consideration, the reward just isn't enough.

A few cases in recent years have favoured the view that regular work is classed as employment whether the employer likes it or not. One determination is whether there is any consequence of turning work down, if there is then it is an implied employment contract.

Either way, the use of car is tax deductible but you need the correct insurance to cover this type of work.
