Where did you get them from mate?

Are they from The US or Europe (or other LHD country)?

Generally the beam direction is in the lense itself - there may be an adjuster on the top of the headlight - you'll have to check.

If theres no adjuster, they are no good on the UK roads, as they wont pass the MOT frown

If they where an Ebay jobbie, send the seller a mail mate.

They have sent you the wrong ones - for a LHD car. The only difference will be a filter inside the lense, which I doubt you can change, but they will be sold for LHD cars, and RHD cars depending of which way the beam should kick...

Started fitting the spoiler before.

I was almost finished drilling and then the battery in my drill ran out and ontop of that, the spoiler was on the roof and slipped off cracking the brake light and balls'd up the paintwork on the bottom of it.

In the process it also took some paint off the drivers door.

Anyway, I will hopefully get hold of a new brake light and respray the bottom of the spoiler.

Most of the trim is now colour coded and fitted.

DVD Player is also fitted, just needs video and audio cables connecting and the TV antenna.

Pics of spoiler not quite fitted just before it decided to throw itself on the floor:

All the trim is getting colour coded smile

I found out the headlight beam an be adjusted both vertically and horizontally on the back of them, but I have no idea how to set it, so will have to look into that.

Thats not what you need mate, that will just move the beam angle / direction, not the actual beam pattern... frown

On my E46 there is a screw you can turn which alters the pattern from left to right so you can drive on the left as in Europe etc...

IIRC the E36 I had previously didnt have this function frown

On the E46 its on the rear of the headlight unit.

Never touched it myself, just saw it had the feature when I looked through the manual when I got the car smile
