Aww, keep it and get rid of the saxo, use the money off the saxo for a zetec or redtop swap, or even a 24v cossie.
I did take nathan (the lad in st helens) out for a drive in mine, and convinced him to buy yours but i dont know whether he called or not. Im trying to get my brother interested but i dont think hes after it.
Try old skool ford, im sure it wont stay up on there long.

Ive seen the car a few times. IMO the Pinto is a good choice Its fairly tunable and should see near 200bhp with oversized valves, big carbs and set up right. As its on carbs it means theres no fancy electronics and ECU, which where obviously never fitted to the original car which keeps it nice and simple, and proper old school Guess you have never tuned a pinto then stu hard engines to sune matey my stockcar was a bored 2.1 pinto kent cams and 45's and still wasnt quick Great motor matey havnt seen it yet but looking forward to it.

Fair dos. Youll miss it though when its gone. Wouldnt you have a mk3 capri? Creature comforts like heaters and window wipers and you can fit a phat v8 in there easy.
Yeah ill speak to him. Im trying to persuade my brother but i think my mum n dad are sorting him something out a bit newer. Its gauranteed hes going to crash within a week of driving so he may aswell be in something with airbags and that.
As i said, it wont stay on osf for long i dont think.

Can't you get HID headlights? Surely they do them for the mk2 escorts?! I'm not too keen on those fog lights. The bloke who owns the scrapyard in Hooton has a black mk2 Cortina which has been stood for a couple of years. He was seeing if I would buy it (along with a 100e and some parts) for something like 1k, when I was after the axle. It's still in there! Cortina looks really nice.

Yes Yes Yes...That Cortina is the sex....
Dude, the spots wouldnt be too bad if they were incorporated into the front. When theyre on, the make the car look Hotroddy...
I really really could do with an Old School Ford, but I dunno if I could give it the time and the effort it would deserve...

Nah, i think theyre too big and would look even worse. I think they only really suit rallied up stuff with big arches and stickers with screaming twin cam engines.
If anyone saw me on sunday they wouldve heard my car. It was running on three cylinders as it somehow threw a rocker arm off. When i took the cover off all 4 inlet ball studs where loose. The gaps werent too bed but they were loose. I only did them about 4 months ago too. So i redid all the gaps and bloody hell its a total different car now. Its as if ive fitted sound deadening inside, and it pulls so much better then before. Im a happy chappy now.

Had it been loosening over time? Sounds just like a Pinto!
