Anyone work on Fords. A friend is having elecrical issues with her key. Can anyone help?

Iain First check if it needs new battery and if the chip is in it. My wife dropped her key and it split in 2 and the chip dropped out. Thank fully I found it in the gutter.

Ah, the ID46 chip. If I had a pound for each time someone replaced their plastic key housing and threw away the old one with the chip inside.
Well, I'd have £3, but the point still stands :-)

I think our new diagnostics kit can code keys, give me a shout if you want me to pop it on and give it a go.
