Can you not upgrade, if you have a android 4.4,2 box you can get a plug in that will give you 17.1

Kodi is dead. Terrarium is the way to go, and it works with older boxes.

Go on youtube, look for mygica that's the plug in for 17.1 there are plenty of instructions on how to down load or as Gibbo says you can download Terrarium, both are free
