Anyone remember a toy and model shop in the 70s that was on a corner somewhere across the main road from the library and some way back. I can’t decide if this is my imagination playing tricks on me or whether there was something there. Sorry for the vagueness but I am convinced there was something there. Paul

I can't remember a Model Shop on Borough Rd, the only Model Shop I can remember was in Oxton Rd. If memory serves it occupied a corner plot, possibly on the corner of Clayton St/Oxton Rd.

Are you thinking about the model shop on Oxton Road which is on a corner with Clayton Place (and did that move from another corner on Oxton Road?)
Currently called Kit Stop - The Birkenhead Model Shop
Hah, @Bert1 beat me to it.
