Below is part of an e-mail i recieved from the organisers following my recent enquiry.

The Xmas cruise is on the 20th of December (Saturday) at Donington Park race track which is between Leicester and Notts. It costs £5 per car to get in and the gates are opening extra early this time because the last one just wasn’t long enough.

Convoys are starting to arrive as early as half four with the action kicking
off around six. I’m going to start parking people in the main exhibition
hall again so you won’t all have to stand around outside in the freezing
cold getting wet if it rains.

Some of the events we have planned include,

¼ Mile Drag Racing (Improved from last time with big displays, etc to read
times out for onlookers)
SPL Sound Offs
Show and Shine
Burnout and donut area (which last time was used mostly for drifting!)
Miss Sexy Santa Competition (bit warmer than wet t-shirt for the winter!)
Pit Stop Challenge (Which is a team event where we can pit cruise groups and
mates head to head in races for the fastest pit stop time)

Plus lots more. There are also some smaller side events which I’m still
working on confirming that include things like a mobile rolling road, etc.

The whole cruise will be brightly lit and is all as close together as
possible so you don’t need to miss out (but does mean venturing outside the
hall!). Like with last time we’ve a lot of magazines interested in coming
along which also means we’ll be giving away prizes and goodie bags
throughout the night.
