me and mr adam were wondering how this is done (and what its for). Is it to let the heat escape from the engine? If so, we both wanna have a bash at doing it to our cars because they get dead hot. Does anyone know how to do it though? ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/0803/andyrs1800/Ford%20Fair%202004/fordfair098.jpg)

i think its there for letting host air escape or it maybe that thy have a big engine under the bonnet that shouldnt be in that car and the boennt wont close so they add those spacers things i think it looks gash to be honest if ya car engine is next to standad not extremly quick or really powerful i wouldnt bother id just got for a bonnet vent

vents mean time, money, and sooner or later will crack, and can sometimes look over the top. some cars suit it and some dont, i think paz's suits his F-50 vent, but if you were to put that vent on my car it'd look pants as it doesnt suit it. personally i dont think my car would suit a big bonnet vent, maybe suit cool lourves (spelling) but again its time and money

![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v88/MisterAdam/My%20Fiesta%20Pictures/liftedbonnet.jpg) i've done it ben, you know what that means, you've gotta do it now <img border="0" alt="[laff my ass off]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions042.gif" /> there's no harm in trying, if you dont like it then you cud always put it back to how it was, whereas if you get a vent and dont like it then your stuffed! if you want a hand then give me a shout

i dont completly hate vents, they can look great on some cars i just personally dont think my car would suit something as big as a vent like the evo ones, if i was to go for one i'd get some like sean's cool lourves which are functionable and good lookin without being "in your face" kinda thing

Adam I think your car would suit an celica vent the slit and circle one if you know wot i mean, but as you say its time and money, the way your doing it is definetly different!
