I personally think it will be 1-1, of course im hoping we beat Chelsea, but I think both teams should be quite tight at the back. Will be interesting to see who Rafa the tinker man plays up front. Most probably the lacklustre Bellamy and Kuyt, he dont seem to like Crouch n Fowler much, probably a bit too English.

Most of the team were rested against Wigan, and the ones that did play were noticeably off the pace (probably told to take it easy) so we should be fielding a near fully fit squad.

Come on Liverpool!

1-0 to Chelsea... not too bad, at least we still have a great chance and they havent finsihed us off.

But one has to question Rafa's tactics, I dont think we really turned up tonight, Gerrard looked a shadow of the player we know he can be.

And as for Kuyt and Bellamy, well I really want to know why Rafa insists on playing "strikers" who don't know what a goal looks like.

Overall a bit peeved off, mainly with the odd way Rafa does things, not too bad though, still got a great chance at Anfield next week.

Have said all along Chelsea will win the european cup this year betting us along the way.

We will score at home but i dont think we can shut Chelsea out think we will win 2-1 and go out on the away goals rule.

And why the hell did rafa take bellamy off before zendon.

Wernt really interested to be honest, we wernt playing for a win, or anything really, the team that was fielded was weak. We just wanted to get Pompey out of the way in preperation for the Chelsea return leg on Tuesday.

Were still 4 points ahead of Arsenal and they only got one game in hand over us (which they play against Fulham today).

I think the attitude was treat the game like a training match, and do get any injuries.

Its a bit naughty really like cos it means Pompey have now moved into contention for a UEFA Cup place with us pretty much letting them win... its almost like match fixing, kind of unfair on other teams. But its just the circumstances of the games and the time its been played, they got lucky.

Just a reminder, although you probably won't need it with it being the biggest local game of the season.

I dunno tonight, Chelsea have injuries galore and are probably deflated after their draw on Saturday. But we'll see.

2 goals to win, but only if they dont score. Once they score, it means we need 3 goals as they would then have the away advantage.

But with the current injury list they have its quite possible for us to win this with a fair amount of ease, it just depends whether Rafa sends the boys out to score goals (ie. PLAY CROUCH!!!) or sends them out for a relaxed testimonial match (ie. play shuyt and hellsbellls - kuyt and bellamy who cant score to save their lives).
