It is a hoax, but it will be closer to Earth this year.... On October 30th at 3:19am (Universal Time), Mars will be only 69 million kilometers from Earth. To the naked eye, Mars will look like a bright red star, a pinprick of light, but certainly not as wide as the full Moon. Beware The Mars Hoax

ok dude, cheers fo that, was tempted to buy a telescope in costco yesterday.. but got sidetracked and totally forgot.. ended up in toys r us buyin transformers for me.. sorry, the boys instead..
