McLaren's Lewis Hamilton was stripped of a dramatic victory in the Belgian Grand Prix after stewards handed him a 25-second post-race penalty.
The Englishman was demoted to third place behind Ferrari's Felipe Massa and BMW Sauber's Nick Heidfeld.
He was accused of gaining an advantage by cutting the Spa circuit's Bus Stop chicane in a late-race battle with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.
McLaren announced that they intend to appeal against the stewards' decision.
The demotion meant Hamilton's lead over Massa in the title chase cut to two points.
Massa's team-mate Raikkonen, who crashed out of second place shortly after losing the lead, is 19 points behind Hamilton. BBC Sport Report This is absolutely pathetic. I saw the supposed "Move" and it wasnt deliberate. If Mclaren dont win the appeal, then its a farce. If its allowed to stand, them Massa should have been stripped for his dangerous Pit Work in Valencia, and I dont agree with that. Its as if theyre trying to make it hard to win the championship using politics, not by relying on driver skill and race events !!!!!!!! What do you think?

Yeah, pathetic. Shouldn't have been given a penalty. He clearly pulled back and let Raikkonen through after cutting the corner, which he had no other option but to do. If Mclaren dont win the appeal, then its a farce  Did anything happen about Massa's incident in the pits?
