This was a Walker's pub next door to the Birkenhead Brewery on Livingstone Street.

Had a fine breakfast in there yesterday 20-1-2010. Good food & service, nice & clean & three newspapers. Very reasonable prices.

I worked at McIvors from 76-80 and had many a christmas drink in there (too many I fear!)

Saw many great bands in there (played there myself also)but distinctly remember a band called Pepper Row and the drummer's kit was set up on the pool table
