Hello Im wanting to go along the Wirral way with my Mum on Saturday seeing as the weather is going to be nice. Although Ive now had the idea of us hiring some bikes and going for a bike ride. My Mum hasnt ridden a bike for 20 years so we will have good fun So I was just wondering if anyone could help me and tell me if there is anywhere that we could hire bikes from close to the coastal wirral way for the day? Ive spotted one place for £20 each for the day but Im hoping for something cheaper. Thanks Michelle_Louise

Thanks Snickas, only thing is they are in Liverpool and it would seem daft to go over to liverpool just for the bikes and come back over to do it and have to go back again to return the bikes. Ideally i need somewhere in wirral that does it. I dont have the brackets or anything on my car either.

Whatever else you do, ensure that both bikes are fitted with bells & use them when coming up behind walkers. A cheery "Thank You" as you pass would not go amiss. I walk as well as ride & often do not hear bikes approaching & I would much sooner hear a bell than have to jump out of the way!

I must admit walkers are rude, you slow down and give a wide bearth and the give you a dirty look?
