Well I got myself a pair of HPI Savage 25's today and I'm chuffed, it's been over 5 years since I last had one of these. Good strong bit of kit with 8 oil filled shocks and 2 speed gear box.





This is the top of the heat sink. Note the small glow plug (like a spark plug)



All electrics at the front, 2speed gearbox in middle, engine at the rear.



8 oil shocks (will be replaced with aluminium ones)



Underside. 2 prop shafts from the bottom of the 2 speed box and a single disk break for all 4 wheels.



These are a good size car, big enough to climb over thing but small enough to store and move around place to place



Look out for me and Vango as he has the same car too

Well me and Vango met up with Robbo in Birkenhead park to bash our RC cars. we bullied robbo's electric road car with our 4x4's until he ran out of battery then decided to do some speed runs and jumps. the cars were running well and we stayed until it was dark. no video but we got some pics.

now robbo is buying one to join in the fun

so I head to my local park to test my cars top speed using an Iphone App, I forget to take my Gopro HD2 with me so feel a bit bummed, then I find my car is stuck in 1st gear Sad even more bummed.. then some idiot parks up on his bike and tells me to go somewhere else!!! *censored* now I know this guy "Kev" from a local bike shop cos I did my Bike training with him. I don't think he realises that I know him and he gets right in my face kicking off and reaching inside his pocket as if he was gonna pull something out? enough is enough so I push him away and decide to go home. then I see them whilst driving home so I decide to go speak to his boss.

He wasn't impressed, I'm waiting on a call.

I would hate to seem picky,but aren't these childrens toys?Ergo unseemly for grown men to play with.

I doubt you would see many kids with those kind of cars.
Even if it's true so what? It's called doing what you enjoy and not harming anyone

I'm 52 and use a team associated mgt 4.8. You couldn't trust it with a kid!
