Hi,just came down bermuda road morton and there is a police helicopter flying above and a couple of coppers around.Whats going on??

No where is crime free no matter how much you want it to be/ think it is. Moreton compared to some towns is reasonably quiet. It is only during the night time round Moreton Cross where it can kick off and cause trouble but Moreton is quite a big place.

The police heli isn't just used to search for criminals, it can be used in search and rescue too. We've used it as coastguards before now. Because of the heat cameras on them they are ideal to search for someone who doesn't want to be found. Often that's the case if a child has run away from home for one reason or another.
