I'm writing this topic as i am going to appeal against my PCN.

After doing a bit of reading before i prepared my appeal letter
i have come across some intresting information.

Also between the lines its saying that double yellow lines are there for saftey.
You should not park on a Double Yellow just because its convenient.
You should not park on a Double Yellow lines if you can cause obstruction or unsafe.
Also parking with in 10 meters of a Junction on Double yellows isnt going to help

So i'm appealing,
So i was unloading.
Contrevention Code 01 "Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours"
So i'm not being accused of obstructing or unsave or pavement parking.
So unloading, this is an exemption to the Double yellows. (Max waiting time 20 mins)
Ticket records,
Spotted to Issued 6mins.
I was deliverying a heavy object, or somthing that would take many to and frows to the vehicle.
I also have to produce any witness statements towards my claim.
Watch out for pavement parkingHave a read of the links above, theres no excuses for pavement parking, be warned.
Will keep you posted on how mine pans out.

Last word be polite to the Ticket attendant if you see them, they can also write notes,
against each ticket issued.
