I have a male GSD, while he has no problem with bitches he can be a bit narky with other male dogs, so he's kept on the lead if there is a remote chance other dogs are nearby, he is chipped. Some of the suggestions are a bit over the top such as muzzling in public all the time, how can a muzzled dog play fetch?. I would suggest a chav test for dog owners, we can all recognise chavs when we see them. If you fail a chav test you should only be allowed a chihuahua or similar toy breed, but absolutely no bull terriers for chavs.

But that comes down to money.

"absolutely no bull terriers for chavs" I don't think it matters about your age Sam, we've all seen them. Unless you are out walking you Bull or Pit type something which is wearing a harness but is not attached to you by a lead and you are trying to walk like your dog then I don't think you have much to worry about.
See you in cyberspace!
