My mate threw up into his pint glass there when we were about 16 and he then drank the contents. Grim event. Money was tight back then.

In 1901, the licencee of 'The Railway Inn' Bebington was Frederick Hough, the son of Aaron Hough. Aaron had been the licencee of 'The Brown Cow' until his death in 1891, when his wife Alice took over until her death in 1900. Frederick died in 1906, aged just 36.
