Very bad between J5 and J4 one car up enbankment and further down another one on its roof on hard shoulder . Lots of standing water and spray . Beware

I believe there has also been an accident by Poulton Bridge Road. Two car crash. By the Poulton Vic's.

Just driven past this on opposite side on the way to Chester. Fair few aquaplanes on the M53 so do beware as kemirakid says. Motorway signs are flashing 50 as well. Feel sorry for whoever Jag it was lovely motor, hope they're OK. Pretty good trick to get a car to do that!

Multiple on Chester bound carriageway just after J4 just now. Have to say I'm happy to be home safely. I hope no one is badly hurt

At Least 5 cars on the m53 when I passed just a min ago, 3 crashed and 2 pulled up, glad I'm home safe hope everyone is ok

There was a crash outside bidston tip today as well.

There was a crash outside bidston tip today as well. I saw that too. Micra ran into the back of someone. There was also a road closed and a road flooded down that way so it was a nightmare.

i had to phone an ambulance as i seen a corsa slam on then smash into the side barrier spin about three times them come to a stop facing the oncoming traffic  hope the person was ok as was a really bad smash.Glad the weather is better today
