Its just started now to snow - anyone know if Oldershaw is closed - nothing on their website as yet.

One of our sons lives in Canada where it is currently -Minus 26 (overnight)and forecast at -12 to -16 over the weekend days.Schools are all open.At least 3 foot of snow there for best part of 5 months.

I pity the parents who don't know if their school is closed (no internet etc) and trudge to school to find it closed and then have to trudge home.
Also those that pay to go by bus or school bus unless the school buses don't turn up anyway

Its even worse when you work and don't know if they are closing the school or not.
