Have just bought a dongle for getting BBC iPlayer on TV. Picture is OK but no sound.
BBC are having problems with adobe upgrades but can't find any mention regarding no sound. Anyone got one that is working? Everything fine on computer.
Seller says dongle OK, fault lies with BBC.

never heard of one of them devices, the thing is, if it's what i'm thinking of, them dongles are a bit useless...
i get iplayer to my tv either from hooking my laptop up to HDMI or through my xbox.
are either of them not an option for you? PS3 can get iplayer too.

Hi thanks for help but just need this to work. You can get branded ones for Smart TVs My TVonics STP works off WiFi. Mine is fine on TV upstairs for picture and as I can get iPlayer on my computer downstairs don't need it there. would just duplicate TV.. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for your help but it is the dongle that's the problem not the box. Have since found out that everyone who has one has this problem as it is caused by the BBC with their latest upgrade messing up iPlayer itself so just got to wait 'til they fix it. Thanks anyway.
