Hi everyone i lived in palatine road seacombe, My friend and were talking about st pauls road and all the shops and all the owners. We named them all nearly the odd one out was the bicycle shop on the corner of parry street, can anyone tell me who the owner was. heres hoping we have been trying for months.

Racked my brains and all I can ever remember it being Barry Jacksons furniture shop for like the last 45 years. You could ask Barry, if he remembers.

have never seen any old photos of this end of st pauls road before which is odd. remember old brisbans or was it brismans. they had some very weird and old fashioned stuff in there . it was like the shop that time forgot

Brizmans, Used to sell clothes and before it closed, very old second hand teles which where well broken. I bought one!. If I remember, his daughter used to help out as well. Type In brizmans seacombe into google, check out the first one that comes up. part of it says.. Brizman, Louis Zusman; Russia; Draper; 77, St. Paul's Road, Seacombe, Wallasey. 25 November, 1924.

louis was the original owner his son solomon took over and his wife ella and daughter goldie. if anyone remembers he always charged a bit moreb because what ever size you asked for he would always say that a bit extra for that size. typical 50s trader always open on sundays and took any cheques . provident ,practical , sterlas. oh for the good old days.
