The Cup Cake cafe in Hoylake is a possibility. Sign in window for sale or rent. Just in car park opposite chapel road off market street. The owners wife makes fantastic cakes.

Shame you want only local, there is a small popular tearoom in Hoofield the 50p shop off the A51 just past Tarporley, Burton Rd/ Hoofield lane, the lady is selling up.

there are a few shops on the parade opposite firs cameras that could be turned into cafes .there used to be one there and it was always busy but sadly they sold up and left

Never heard of Firs cameras, but Fairs is in Dacre Hill, junction of Bebington Rd. & Old Chester Rd.

Isn't Firs cameras in Rock Ferry and Mostyn Square in Parkgate? Lol! Sorry don't know Rock Ferry. Was thinking of the "parade" in Parkgate. There is (or was) a photographic studio on The Parade there. New café just opened on the square. Sounds like Shaun is sorted now anyway.
