Hi we have just changed broadband package to BT from sky to enable us to get BT Sport, but now our 'ON DEMAND' Box wont connect to the WiFi, i have been in touch with BT who say is SKY's issue and Sky say its BT's, so am at my whits end, Every other component connects to WiFi, some one said its my internet settings but i don't know what to do to change them without messing everything up. Any ides would be so grateful. Thank you in advance

Just a thought,is your router using WPS which Sky's on demand needs? You can get round the on demand problem, if that is the case by connecting by using your router's pin number. On Sky go to services>0>5 and it is clear from there what to do.

Sorry I can't suggest anything else but I am sure somebody on here will. I had the problem with on demand, if I connected it via wps then my laptop, ipad, mobile phone would not connect as none of them have wps facility. Then I connected on demand using the router's pin instead and hey presto everything works perfectly. So what I was suggesting is you don't use wps but if your BT home hub supports wps(?)then it is not that. Good luck sorting it.

Is there a button you can press on your hub? Normally if you press that and the one on the on demand box within 30 seconds they should connect.
Could be a WPS button sure someone with more tech knowledge will know

Hold the reset button on the bt router for 30 secs,
And connect it with the password not the WPS button,
Trust me , I work for sky
BT routers are the issue

Have you tried reinstalling on demand from scratch? That's what I did a few times before I succeeded with using the pin number from the router, not WPS.Here are the instructions if you don't have the little box that it came in. http://help.sky.com/tv/using-on-demand/set-up-on-demand

Hi everyone i have tried every suggestion that you have all posted. Think Im going to have to get someone out to look at it. The strongest wifi connection it detects on the TV is not even my router number. So as a last resort Im going to ask my neighbour if its his to 'borrow' his passkey and see if it connects . If this doesn't work Im going to chuck it!!!!! LOL Thank you all

I know that feeling, I spent so long on the phone to Sky trying to get it sorted and told them I had chucked it, they were unconcerned. A week or so later I tried again and it went ok. They say the router must be clear of any radiators, wiring, general obstructions. To be honest I an not sure on demand is worth having anyway.

You won't believe it. I have just borrowed next doors on demand box as he has built in WiFi sky box and it worked 1st time!! So a demented pegsgirl is happy. However still gonna blame sky as need to blame someone. Thank you all and a merry Christmas.
