Hello I am just wondering if anyone could help. Myself and a number of others are fundraising for crohns and colitis uk in memory of my boyfriend passed away in July aged just 25. 17 of us are doing a skydive and a load of us are also doing the Port Sunlight 10K. We are also hoping to hold a charity auction and raffle night in April so I just want to know if anyone knows of any big function rooms we can use that are either free to hire or as cheap as possible? Also does anyone know of any local businesses that would be able to help in any way either by donating a prize or making a donation to our cause?

Depending how big you want it try Gallaghers by Woodside . Sue and Frank are wikiwirral members, they have a function room upstairs. Not sure now but the Beechwood Social used to let members have their function hall for free also try the Lauries by the new Asda, Claughton Road/Exmouth st

Try the queens by birkenhead park. They have a big function room, and are central for people to get to.
