hi all. What i want to ask is abit political and boring, but is there anyone who is pension savvy can tell me why NHS pensions are not included in new budget rules. I have very small one with small annuity due when i retire and thought it would be good to get lump sum instead. Dissapointed told no because NHS pension scheme not included. Why? Anybody know?

The new rules only apply to 'money-purchase' pension schemes i.e. private schemes where you use your pension pot to buy your own annuity at retirement.
The NHS scheme is 'defined benefit' so won't count under the new rules.
