I have a DVD which is an audio interview, over an hour long. The sound quality is poor, with a lot of hissing on the 's' sounds. Does anyone know someone who could process it to improve the sound quality? Although I'm not local, I could send a copy by post easily enough. Thanks, Chris.

Chris When I converted a lot of old records (some 6 years old) to CD I used a program called Audacity to remove some of the snap-crackle-pop that the records had acquired over years of misuse. Audacity is a free program http://audacity.sourceforge.net/A bit of a bugger to learn how to use it initially but trial and error can sort that out. Snod

Thanks. I've downloaded Audacity but now my problem is that I don't seem to be able to rip the contents of the DVD on to my computer. It seems to know it's not music, but it is a WAV file.

Thanks, Gibbo, but having looked at the Audacity software I've decided to abandon the whole idea. I need someone to take my disc and sort it, otherwise I'll just not bother.
