Just found this, dunno if people have seen it before, but oh well heh. Heres the article with pics laugh

"When we look at the new TT in its profile view, we see a hint of Porsche influence. Hell, we'll go and say that in its profile, the TT looks like a Porsche with a small "boot" in the back. Porsche maniacs can deny that statement all they want, but deep down inside, they know it's true...

So while the side silhouette of the car is very "Porsche-esque", the rest of the car did get a few styling cues from the aforementioned Shooting Brake concept. Check out that first pic of the Shooting Brake and then scroll down and look at the new TT. The new TT's headlights, front fenders, side rocker panels and even the rear fender were all lifted from the Shooting Brake. Thankfully, Audi decided to put a prettier version of its "shield" on the front end of the TT rather than use the Shooting Brake's metal mouth.

This new TT is venturing into the realm of exotic sports cars thanks to Audi's extensive use of aluminum. In fact, 69 percent of the TT's space frame is made of aluminum, while the remaining 31 percent of the fame is made from steel. The steel in the TT's frame is found in the back of the car so that the TT's weight can be better distributed over both axles.

The new TT has two engine options, both of which were fished out of the A4 parts bin. Don't think that's a bad thing, the A4 has some of the best engines we've ever experienced. The base front-drive TT gets the kick-ass 2.0-liter turbocharged four-banger under its hood, which as you know pushes out 200 horsepower. When mated to the TT's standard six-speed gearbox, Audi is claiming 0-60 times of just 6.4 seconds. TT customers with more cash in the bank can opt for the bigger 3.2-liter naturally-aspirated 250-horsepower V6. This engine will send its power down through all four wheels (thanks to the V6's standard Quattro drivetrain) and rocket the car to sixty in just 5.4 seconds.

Okay, so the new TT looks almost like a Porsche, has exotic car-like aluminum construction and has "regular/normal" (and excellent) A4 powerplants… what's the suspension like? Well, the stock TT has a sporty and dynamic suspension with a multi-link rear set-up, but magnetically-controlled dampeners are also available. Available wheel sizes will vary from puny 16-inchers all the way to near-DUB-like 19's.

A few design cues from the current TT's cockpit find their way into the cabin of the new car -- namely the 3 vents on the center dash and the "walls" on the lower half of the center console. However, not only does the new TT's dash ditch the "teutonic" horizontal line-design, the new TT's cabin doesn't feel as sparse as the one found in the current car. Surfaces have a more "sculpted" feel to them, making the new car's interior feel more luxurious. Of course, Audi's designers didn't go overboard and throw all sorts of gaudy chrome and wood trim everywhere; subtle touches of aluminum are all that is used to break up the all-black/dark gray interior.

While it seems like we have every bit of info we need to know, we are still missing two crucial pieces of information about this car, namely how much it's gonna cost and when it's gonna hit showroom floors. We'll find out these tidbits of information once the car makes its official debut this Wednesday at the New York Auto Show. Stay tuned...

Looks like the old TT in the middle, with the A4/A6 stuck on the front and back. TT was a bit of an icon, I wish they'd leave it at that. They're bringing out a new Mini soon and a Beetle?!?!
